The internship operations specialist is primarily responsible for managing the onboarding, administrative tasks, financial processes, and offboarding for volunteer interns and residents serving 1-11 months. This role ensures each intern or resident has seamless integration into the organization via the application platform and a smooth experience with administrative and financial processes through all phases of the internship/residency. The IOS will work in tandem with the internship program specialist, and they will also collaborate with various departments within MTW to support these processes, maintain accurate records, and provide timely communications. The IOS may be asked to perform data research, summarization, or analysis for various projects benefiting the Internship Program and MTW.
The ideal candidate is someone who loves the Lord, has a servant attitude, and a heart for global missions. This person must be organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and preferably will have experience in financial operations. They will be computer literate and proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, and Zoom, with the posture of a constant learner. In addition, they must have strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written. Preferably, this person will have experience working with college students as well as some missional field experience, including the support raising process. Working knowledge of the PCA and/or MTW and experience with Workday software is a plus.
