Of Thailand’s 70 million people, far less than 1% know Jesus. In this vastly Buddhist nation, the gospel has been slow to take root. The Church in Thailand has grown slowly and has often been beset by unbiblical teaching, infighting, and a lack of trained pastors.
But over the past few years, the tide seems to be turning. We are seeing the beginnings of a “gospel awakening” and a hunger for the Word among Thai believers. Materialism, technology, and recent events in Thailand have combined to untether Thais from the security of long-held national identity, and we’re seeing a greater openness to the gospel.
We’d like to invite seminary students to join us for 10 days to get a vision for how God is building His Church in Thailand. Come and walk our parish with us. Come see the work. Come hear from your Thai brothers and sisters about how God is moving in Bangkok and beyond. Come taste and see the culture, come pray with and for us, and come to see how God might have you be a part of what He’s doing in Thailand.
