Jacob is excited to be going to Riga, Latvia, this summer for two months on an internship with MTW. Jacob graduated from California Heritage YouthBuild Academy in 2023 and is employed by them as a groundskeeper/media assistant. Jacob has a heart for youth ministry and is most excited about the chance to reach the younger generation through games and other fun activities.
Jacob realized he felt called to northern Europe early this year during a conversation with his mom, Roberta. Since then he has been preparing his heart and mind for the field. Jacob’s efforts include continuing his education through online ministry classes, personal Bible studies with friends and family, and street ministry in his hometown of Redding, California.
Jacob will be working as an intern under host missionaries Robert and Jeanne Smith. He will use his passion for working with kids to help spread the gospels to the under-reached parts of the Baltics. Jacob hopes to learn God’s direction for his life and to grow closer to Him through service.
