May, Andrew & Krista

Serving in Peru | Acct # 400237

PERSONAL NOTE

Andrew and Krista are high school sweethearts who married one week after graduating from the University of Georgia. Andrew then spent three years in graduate school where he received a doctor of physical therapy degree. Krista was a middle school Spanish teacher during that time and became a stay-at-home mom when their first child was born in 2013.

They both came to Christ at an early age, but didn't think God would call their family to overseas missions. After hearing what the Lord was doing in Cusco, Peru, from a missionary who was a former member of their church, they began praying and asking if He was calling them to the field. They visited the team in Cusco and knew the Lord was calling them to long-term missions in Peru.

Andrew will work as a physical therapist in the medical clinic, be involved with student ministry, and seek to glorify Christ by training a new generation of healthcare providers to bring the healing of the gospel to Peruvians and the Quechua, a largely unreached, impoverished people group in the Andes. Krista will use her gifts of hospitality, service, and language to develop relationships with locals and serve in the church plant women's ministry.
