Ensenada Church Plant
Americas - North | Project # 97363
The city of Ensenada, 80 miles south of San Diego, California, is a major port city with a large professional population. While the people value education, art, music, and the sciences, most distrust religion and established churches. There is a great need for a place where friendship, preaching of the gospel, and worship of the Creator are offered.
Renuevo, meaning “renewal,” is a church plant in Ensenada that’s part of the vision of the National Presbyterian Church in Mexico (NPCM). This denomination desires to see churches planted in 10 major cities in 10 years. The ultimate goal of this vision is to see growing, multiplying, gospel-centered churches that bring renewal through the good news of Christ. MTW is partnering with NPCM to support Renuevo and its pastor with mentoring and coaching. Together they are working to build a church that demonstrates Reformed identity in a contextualized way, preaches a Christ-centered and evangelistic message, and offers service to the community.
Please consider a gift to this strategic church plant as they preach the gospel and pray for renewal of the city.
