Brock, Chris & Donnette

When Chris started seminary in 2009, both he and Donnette already sensed that the Lord was calling them to the mission field. Chris felt a strong call toward pastoral ministry and church planting, and Donnette was also interested in finding a way to serve the Lord with her administrative gifts. In 2011 the Brocks accepted a call to serve as church planters in southwest France. Chris was ordained with the PCA in 2013, and the Brocks moved to France in January of 2015.

Only about 1 percent of the people in France identify as evangelical Christian, and only around 10 percent have ever opened a Bible. The Brocks are serving alongside a team that works in partnership with a Reformed, evangelical French denomination, in order to plant a church in the southwest area of Toulouse, the aerospace capital of France. It is their prayer and desire to see this church flourish as a gospel light to those around them in this dynamic and growing city.
