Die Werkstatt: Discipleship and Ministry in the Heart of Europe

Opportunity Details
How is God shaping you, and what kind of work does He have for you in His kingdom?
These are the questions you’ll tackle at Die Werkstatt, “the workshop,” a summer ministry program in the heart of Europe and a 2026 RUF partnership site. During eight weeks in southern Germany, first in the global city of Munich and then in vibrant Freiburg, you’ll live in community with each city’s missionaries, dig deep into the gospel, and explore exciting places where opportunities for kingdom work abound.
Each week will be shaped by rhythms of worship, prayer, and reflection both on your own and with the team. Missionaries and local ministry workers will share their experience and perspectives from their work in church planting and leadership, theological education, evangelism and outreach, counseling, mercy ministry, and more. You’ll connect with multiple churches and get a taste of the missionary experience as you learn German, engage in outreach, and serve alongside MTW workers in two young church plants.
If you’re aged 20-25, flexible and ready to learn, come and discover our vision for reaching Germany with the gospel and equipping kingdom workers to serve all of German-speaking Europe and beyond. Join us in discovering how God is calling and shaping you for your own part in His work!
Dates: May 27 – July 22
