Opportunity Details

Kenya is a strategic hub for ministry in East Africa. Nairobi gathers people from across the region and world, creating unique opportunities to disciple leaders whose influence extends globally. With a diverse, relational culture and real need for strong biblical teaching, it’s a compelling place to serve, build community, and strengthen healthy churches.

Church planting requires many different gifts and callings. Not everyone on a church planting team serves in a pastoral role, but many people play essential parts in helping a young church grow and flourish. MTW’s team in Kenya is looking for individuals who love the church and want to serve as part of a church planting team, using their gifts to strengthen the life of the church and support its ministry in the community. Ministry opportunities may include discipleship, hospitality, music and worship, women’s ministry, youth ministry, community outreach, administration, or other areas where a church plant needs support. The specific areas of ministry will depend on the gifts and experience of each individual and the current needs of the church planting team.

Candidates should be spiritually mature, relational, flexible, humble, and eager to serve. A love for the local church and a willingness to learn cross-cultural ministry are essential. This role is open to men and women, singles or families, and does not require ordination.
