Opportunity Details

MTW’s Cambodia team is planting churches and using justice and mercy ministries to build the local church. They are also cultivating Khmer leaders to do the work of God through preaching, teaching, and practical hands-on work with local communities.

We are looking for a couple to serve with our Freedom Ministries, working with young girls who have been sexually exploited or sex trafficked. Freedom Ministries takes care of young girls ages 9-22 who have been rescued. Dahlia Dorm serves our younger girls (9-18). There will soon be a second dorm called Gemma’s Garden for the same ages. When girls age out of high school, they go to live with one of our church plant communities in Phnom Penh where they also attend college. The reintegration process happens through the local church plants.

This is a unique opportunity for a husband and wife ministry team or a family. You will work alongside another family who started this growing ministry seven years ago. A strong marriage is a must. Experience in counseling or trauma care is a plus but not required. Experience in caring for kids or adolescents in a group home setting is a plus as well. A strong passion for caring for girls who have been sexually exploited and sex trafficked is essential.
