Mission Trips
Opportunity Details
Mission to the World is continuously seeking gifted childcare volunteers to serve missionary families at our upcoming training events and retreats. By caring for their children, you allow parents to fully engage in adult sessions, knowing their little ones are safe, loved, and having fun.
We coordinate events throughout the year, varying in location, cost, and duration. While some of our specific, upcoming events are listed individually, event childcare is an ongoing need.
- U.S. Training & Refresh Conferences: These domestic events focus on families preparing for, or transitioning from, the field. Volunteers build relationships with elementary-aged children through active play or care for infants and toddlers in a preschool setting.
- International Regional Retreats: Held at overseas resort locations, these trips offer an incredible opportunity to minister directly to global field teams while experiencing a new culture during scheduled free time.
Volunteer Responsibilities
- Elementary Age: Lead interactive games, crafts, activities, and build intentional relationships.
- Infants & Preschoolers: Provide attentive babysitting, comfort, and playtime.
General Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Successful completion of a background check and child protection training is required.
- Volunteers are responsible for raising their own financial support to cover project costs, lodging, meals, and travel expenses.
