Opportunity Details

Come serve for one to 11 months alongside a multicultural church-planting team planting a Presbyterian church in the city of Krakow. Church members are Poles, Ukrainians, South Africans, Kenyans, Brazilians, and more. Our team will guide you as you participate, learn, and grow in the church-planting process in a multinational European context, and perhaps as you discern a call to full-time ministry.

Interns can expect to serve in children’s ministry, community outreach, interact with church members, and participate in the regular weekly ministries of the church. This will likely include weekly Bible studies,  practicing hospitality, assisting with outreach events (such as English outreach), assisting in practical tasks (such as cleaning and organizing), and volunteering for various tasks on Sundays. Moreover, Krakow is a university town and the team is launching a campus outreach ministry with opportunities for interns to get involved. You will also spend time learning and being mentored; you will have assigned readings, learn Polish, and meet with a mentor weekly. For men considering pastoral ministry, your mentoring will be tailored to help you discern your call and you will be included in things like pastoral visits, homiletics class, and sermon preparation discussions.

This internship is primarily for those who are interested in going into cross-cultural or pastoral ministry. An ideal candidate loves the Lord, is humble, teachable, and excited to engage with people from other cultures.
