Opportunity Details

Church planting is at the heart of MTW’s ministry in East Africa. As partnerships with national churches and leaders continue to grow, there is an increasing need for someone to help coordinate projects and facilitate communication and administrative processes across the region. We are seeking someone to join our growing church planting team in Kenya who will serve alongside the team and regional leadership which serves Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, and Uganda.

The coordinator will help facilitate communication between missionaries, national church leaders, and ministry partners; responsibilities may include organizing ministry initiatives, assisting with project development, helping national partners navigate project requests and funding processes, coordinating meetings and ministry planning efforts, and supporting the practical details that allow ministry efforts to move forward. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, coordination, and supporting ministry leaders behind the scenes. The work will require independence, initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under leadership. Experience in administration, project coordination, nonprofit work, or ministry support is helpful but not required.
