Opportunity Details

Great Commission Presbyterian Church is a new church plant in Belmopan, the capital city of the culturally diverse Caribbean/Central American country of Belize.

The church is located near the University of Belize campus. Students come from all over the country to attend UB where there is no Reformed covenantal church close by other than this new church plant. In addition, Belmopan is a strategic city to reach the nation’s business leaders. We are praying for a full time pastor and his family in this important city center, for not only the growth of the new church plant but for the development of ministry on the university campus. This is primarily an English-speaking ministry, so no language school is required to get started, however Spanish is helpful.

If you are a teaching elder with a heart for students, we invite you to come preach every Sunday, lead regular Bible studies, and help start a university ministry. Seminary students needing to fulfill internship requirements will also be considered.
