In this second session of MTW West Coast’s spring 2019 Equip training on short-term missions, MTW West Coast Hub Director Mike Pettengill tackles the controversial question of the value of short-term mission trips.

In this session, Mike seeks to answer three questions:
1. Does short-term missions benefit the ministry overseas that is hosting the trip?
2. Does it benefit the sending ministry, aka the home church in the U.S.?
3. Do short-term mission trips lead to long-term missionaries?

Listen as we explore further how short-term mission trips can be God-glorifying and kingdom advancing when done properly.

This seminar was recorded live at the spring 2019 Equip missions training in Fullerton, California. Equip is a quarterly training event sponsored by MTW West Coast designed to deepen your understanding of missions and help you see how God’s global plan intersects with your life. Additional seminars are available on Soundcloud.
