Registration Now Open for PCA Global Missions Conference
Registration is now open for the 2017 PCA Global Missions Conference. MTW and Park Cities Presbyterian Church will co-sponsor the conference to be held Nov. 10–12 in Dallas, Texas. This year’s theme is “This Is Missions.”
College students, missionaries, church leaders, and laypeople are invited to gather together to learn how God is moving around the globe and to share in the excitement of His work. It’s an opportune time to join over 2,000 fellow believers, people who love the Church and the Reformed faith, and explore how God can use you and your church in global missions.
“This Is Missions”
This year’s theme, “This Is Missions,” is about recognizing all the ways God has equipped His people with unique gifts, interests, and skill sets to serve Him. Serving in missions opens up a wealth of opportunities for all kinds of gifts to be used. Whether those are in church planting, teaching English, healthcare, children’s ministry, or business—all gifts and skills are needed to grow the global Church.
There’s also the chance to explore one of the more pressing needs of our time—the Church’s response to the refugee crisis—during the pre-conference, “Welcoming the Refugee,” Nov. 9–10. This is a timely offering for the Church as the need for refugee ministry expands across the globe, and a valuable opportunity to inspire and equip your congregation for global outreach.
Plenary speakers and breakout sessions
The 2017 Global Missions Conference will bring together Kevin DeYoung, award-winning author and senior pastor of University Reformed Church, and MTW Coordinator Lloyd Kim as plenary speakers, as well as Global Executive Director/CEO of the Lausanne Movement Michael Oh. Worship during the conference will be led by Park Cities Presbyterian, with a night of prayer and praise with Shane and Shane.
Breakout sessions will cover a range of topics relevant to participants’ interests. Whether you’re a seasoned missions pastor, a missionary, or a student just beginning to explore missions, the conference seeks to address your specific needs. A sampling of seminars is available on the website, with more to be added in the coming weeks.
Registration for the 2017 Global Missions Conference is now open. To register or receive more information on the conference, visit mtw.org/gmc.
