Inside MTW’s Prayer Ministry (Video)
As COVID-19 sweeps the globe, we are all the more aware of our dependence on God. This devastating virus serves as a potent reminder that even more than mercy, more than evangelism, more than teaching, more than discipleship, prayer is the work. Prayer is our primary ministry.
When Ken and Tammie Matlack first started ministering in Berlin 30 years ago, they arrived with lots of credentials that said they were equipped for the role. But within six weeks they found themselves on their faces before God saying, “What do we do? Because if You don’t show up in power, Lord, this is the stupidest thing we ever decided to do.”
The Matlacks are leading MTW’s global prayer effort, helping our organization become a people who are about seeking God and asking Him to move and release His power to accomplish what He desires to accomplish among the nations.
