How to Get From Here to There (Audio)

By Staff, Mar 6, 2018

In the coming months, we'll be releasing the audio from some of the more than 90 seminars recorded live at the 2017 PCA Global Missions Conference in Dallas. These will be posted on our blog and distributed through MTW Online, our bi-weekly email newletter. A new seminar will be posted every two weeks. We think you'll find these seminars informative, encouraging, and challenging.

Is God leading me to go? What factors do I need to consider? How do I get there? If you're contemplating missions there are questions you may be asking yourself. This seminar will give you an overview of MTW's programs, provide and opportunity to begin to think through these important topics, and help you plan your next steps.

MTW missionaries share from their experiences of discerning their call, visits to the field, and the process of going with MTW. If you're thinking through your calling, and are curious about the ins and outs of what the road to the field with MTW looks like, you'll gain insight from this seminar.

Pray for our missionaries whose call is to care for our missionaries on the field all around the globe. Pray for them as they juggle many needs, travel frequently, and seek to care for field missionaries well.

Pray for missionaries as they face a wide variety of stressors related to living and serving cross-culturally on the mission field.

Pray that God would remind the Western Church of the critical importance of sending missionaries to serve internationally.

In the aftermath of the Turkey/Syria earthquake, pray that the Lord would multiply the “fish and loaves” being given to the hungry crowd and that His great name would be praised.

Ask God to raise up new missionaries from among those who have retired and are thinking about their next calling.

Pray for students in West Africa receiving business training through our Work+Place Ministries, that they would flourish and the gospel would go forth as a result.

Pray for the Roma people in Slovakia, that God would draw them to Himself, and grow the young body of believers there.

Pray for those who have been left alone with no surviving family members. Many stories are emerging of entire families, save one, who died in the earthquake.

Pray for local bodies of believers to be strengthened, resourced, and further equipped to help provide care for those who have been so terribly impacted by this earthquake. Continue to pray for wisdom as they come alongside those in the region with the love of Christ.

Pray for our field workers as they continue to work with and through local partners and churches to help with both short-term and longer-term needs.
