Mentorship and Mission: Insights From Summer Interns (VIDEO)

This summer in the heart of Brussels, Belgium, a group of passionate young college students stepped off a plane and into a rich faith journey as part of an MTW mentored summer internship. Interns from different backgrounds and with varying levels of interest in missions grew as God worked in each of them individually and collectively to teach them about Himself and His heart for the nations.
The two-month summer internship included Bible study, cross-cultural learning, urban outreach, church ministry, and mentoring, and combined them with social activities, meaningful relationships, and a vision for global missions. Mentorship is another big part of the internship as interns meet one-on-one with missionaries. The interns are able to share personal challenges, receive spiritual guidance and encouragement from missionaries, and learn more about what a life of cross-cultural missions looks like.
Watch and listen to the interns share firsthand what their experience was like and how God worked to deepen their roots and give them a greater vision for cross-cultural missions.
