L’Atelier: Urban Missions in Brussels

In French, “L’Atelier” means the workshop—and that’s exactly what this summer internship is designed to be: a dynamic environment where you pick up the tools of ministry and hone your calling in the heart of Europe’s capital city. Brussels is one of the most vibrant, international crossroads in the world. With over 150 languages spoken and more than half the city claiming foreign roots, the nations have truly gathered here.

This summer internship is a 2027 RUF partnership site. Built around a cohort model, L’Atelier invites you to learn, debrief, and grow in close-knit community. You’ll be personally mentored by MTW missionaries, doing life (and lots of meals!) alongside our Brussels team while soaking in a heavy dose of European urban living. Through a robust discipleship track, we unpack topics that connect theology to practical missions and a lifetime of Christian faithfulness. Along the way you will interact with missionaries serving in diverse contexts, catching a wider vision for God’s work in Europe.

Ministry here is hands-on and diverse. You’ll be on the front lines of student outreach with RUF Brussels, building relationships with European university students. You’ll also interact with people from around the world as you serve in the church, engage the local culture, and take part in mercy ministry.
