Reach the Next Generation in Bogota

Serve with MTW's Next team at the United Church of Bogota, an English-speaking international church, which is home to Colombians as well as people from all over the world. Next is a wing of MTW that seeks to reach the next generation, globally. They do this through outreach and discipleship among young people in local communities, by training youth workers, and by sustaining missionary families on the field. 

As an intern with the Bogota Next team, you would serve the middle and high school students at UCB through the weekly planning and leading youth groups and by building relationships with students for life-on-life discipleship. You would also grow personally as you are mentored and discipled by the team and develop Spanish language skills. This internship will allow you to jump into an established ministry with a clear role and set of responsibilities, and be able to do so from day one in English. Along the way, you will acquire Spanish and learn Colombian culture, but also be exposed to people from every continent in an international church in a global city. You will have opportunities to be exposed to other types of ministries such as Spanish church planting and RUF Global.

This is an 11-month internship, August to June (the school year).
