Mentored Internship in Central Asia

Would you like to spend the summer exploring how your vocation can be used on the mission field? We're looking for interns who are interested in experiencing ministry in a predominantly Muslim country, who also have a vocational passion to explore, who are able to engage students and young people with the gospel, and who have an interest in engaging with the local church—all within a historically rich, but complex cultural context. In addition, interns will experience intentional mentoring on this 2024 RUF partnership site.

Interns will meet weekly with a mentor from the team, engage in scheduled guided discipleship times, and participate in daily team life like having meals and team worship together. Our team members engage in vocational ministry in various different areas. While they work toward common goals, they have a broad range of vocational experience that they employ. Interns will also be encouraged to engage with national partners to learn language, culture, and do ministry together.

Dates: 8 weeks, starting mid/late May; for interns not limited to the summer, 12 weeks with various starting points would also be possible
