Eli Stuart

Eli Stuart is a Covenant College graduate currently teaching at Nagoya Christian School in Nagoya, Japan. He studied biblical and theological studies at Covenant and has a deep love for theology, history, and the humanities. After studying at Tokyo Christian University during college, he fell in love with the Japanese Church and has been working to answer the call to missions ever since.

With only 0.3% of Japan’s population adhering to evangelical Christianity, it is the world’s second-largest unreached people group. The next generation in Japan is vitally important to the spread of the kingdom, and a strong Christian education is pivotal to that mission. Eli serves on the Nagoya church planting team and, in addition to teaching, is involved in university student ministry at Nisshin Christ Church. He hopes that through both his ministry to the children at Nagoya Christian School and his outreach to university students, he will be a conduit for the Spirit’s work in Nagoya.
