Tu, Derek & Nancy

Over the years, Derek and Nancy Tu have served as church planters in north Dallas, Texas, reaching local internationals and partnering with New York Gospel Ministries in Manhattan, New York. Through their involvement in ESL ministries and staff roles at Redeemer Presbyterian Church McKinney, they have seen the desperate need for people to hear the hope of Jesus and join a gospel-centered church. This passion extends to Christ’s College Taipei and Reformed Theological Seminary Taipei, where students from across Asia come to study. They long to teach the Word of God and equip future ministry leaders for God’s kingdom with the MTW team there.

As Derek and Nancy developed ministry partnerships and supported women's ministry, they began to feel God's call to Taipei, Taiwan. After much prayer and a mission trip to discern God's direction, they received a specific heart for CCT. Derek aims to serve in Bible teaching, theological education, and evangelism, cultivating a new generation of church leaders, pastors, and missionaries with a Reformed faith. Nancy focuses on women's campus ministry, supporting and guiding female students in their spiritual journeys.
