Mario and Elsbeth serve the worldwide Church by training global Christian leaders in a suburb of Amsterdam. They first met in 2011 and married in 2014. They have four children. Being German citizens, they always had a desire to minister in Central Europe. In 2018 God called them to the Netherlands to serve the Church through theological education at Tyndale Theological Seminary.
At Tyndale, Mario teaches Old Testament. The school has an intentional international profile and trains students primarily from Africa and Asia, but also from all over the world, to become pastors and missionaries in their home countries. Both Mario and Elsbeth are excited that God uses Tyndale to prepare men and women for a variety of ministries with a gospel-centered theological education. At the same time, they are involved in a local Reformed church in the Netherlands, one of the most secular societies in the world.
