Nolen, Megan

The Lord has sown a love and an intrigue with other cultures in Megan’s heart from a young age. What began long ago as fascination with other cultures, the Lord cultivated into a deep desire to see the lost come to know Christ. God repeatedly brought Megan to Japan—as a tourist, an exchange student in rural Chiba, and a short-term missionary in Tokyo—and He continues to draw her toward the land of the rising sun. 

Megan is coming back to Japan with MTW to serve for 11 months In Nagoya. She will partner with Nagoya Central Church, making art programs for children and working in the youth and young adult ministry. Megan will also work at an art gallery in an effort to build relationships with the local community. She strives to partner with God in unveiling Jesus’s heart for and pursuit of the Japanese. 

Megan’s heart echoes that of famous Japanese Christian Uchimura Kanzo who said, “I love two Js and no third; one is Jesus, and the other is Japan.“

Megan looks forward to sharing her most true and perfect friend with Japan: Jesus!
