What Is Missions Like in Central Asia? (VIDEO)

People often have a hard time conceptualizing Central Asia. Many think about communism, or women in burqas and men in turbans. Or they think of war and danger. But Central Asia really isn’t any of these things. When people come to visit, these stereotypes are quickly put aside. The people are warm, hospitable, open, and curious, eager for conversations about life and faith.
The region is generally characterized as unreached. Though there are churches, they are rather new. These are creative access countries. They’re not closed. There are always opportunities to go and work. We need people willing to be creative and use their skills gifts in this context for the kingdom.
