The Best Worst Generation: Ministry to Millennials and Preparing Them for Missions (Audio)

By Staff, Mar 20, 2018

What is the best way to minister to and prepare the millennial generation for missions? They’ve been called spoiled but generous, entitled yet altruistic, willing to save the world but not to spend six months in a cubicle.

Listen to three millennials in ministry who will help you understand their generation: who they are, what they value, and the challenges and opportunities involved in partnering with them for kingdom expansion.

This seminar was recorded live at the 2017 PCA Global Missions Conference in Dallas.

Pray for our "Next" ministry to those between the ages of 10 to 30 worldwide, arguably the largest unreached people group in history. Pray that young people around the world would find faith in Jesus Christ.

Pray for youth around the world to come to faith, and pray for missionaries who minister to the next generation. Young people often impact their whole familes for Christ.

Pray for Japanese college students wrestling with new faith. Pray that they would have the courage to give their lives to Christ and not fear their family's reaction.

Pray that God would remind the Western Church of the critical importance of sending missionaries to serve internationally.

In the aftermath of the Turkey/Syria earthquake, pray that the Lord would multiply the “fish and loaves” being given to the hungry crowd and that His great name would be praised.

Ask God to raise up new missionaries from among those who have retired and are thinking about their next calling.

Pray for students in West Africa receiving business training through our Work+Place Ministries, that they would flourish and the gospel would go forth as a result.

Pray for the Roma people in Slovakia, that God would draw them to Himself, and grow the young body of believers there.

Pray for those who have been left alone with no surviving family members. Many stories are emerging of entire families, save one, who died in the earthquake.

Pray for local bodies of believers to be strengthened, resourced, and further equipped to help provide care for those who have been so terribly impacted by this earthquake. Continue to pray for wisdom as they come alongside those in the region with the love of Christ.
