Short-Term Missions: After You Return (Audio)

By Mike Pettengill, Jun 11, 2019

Now that you’re back from your short-term mission trip, what should you expect? What thoughts and emotions might you encounter? What do you do with feelings of anger at your own culture? What do you make of a spiritual high? How can that zeal be harnessed for good?

In this fifth and final session of MTW West Coast's spring 2019 Equip training on short-term missions, MTW West Coast Hub Director Mike Pettengill covers some common difficulties and blessings when returning from a short-term trip with suggestions on how to handle them and turn a short-term trip into a long-term blessing for everyone involved. Mike also shares some available resources for discipleship and short-term mission trips in a God-glorifying manner.

Listen and learn how you can make the most of your opportunity to serve.

This seminar was recorded live at the spring 2019 Equip missions training in Fullerton, California. Equip is a quarterly training event sponsored by MTW West Coast designed to deepen your understanding of missions and help you see how God's global plan intersects with your life. Additional seminars are available on Soundcloud.
