A church planted by MTW missionaries and national partners in the impoverished Suki community of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, has become a stronghold of joy in the darkness. At a recent Sunday gathering, several members of the Suki church plant gave impromptu testimonies of thanksgiving to God: a daughter healed, an elderly mother coming to faith, a new home provided, a home intruder stopped by prayer. Last month, they celebrated a baptism service in which 16 new members were received. Each individual baptized had their own story of redemption, of Christ drawing them into His bigger story of hope and redemption for the world. God has truly been faithful and good to His people.

In the midst of poverty, sickness, and pain, this little fellowship of believers is shining a light of hope and love, evident to all those around them.

Your gifts to MTW are used to build strongholds of joy in a broken world. Thank you for the part you play in sharing the hope of the gospel and advancing the kingdom.
