MTW missionary Liz Crusey starts her Tuesday mornings hosting the women’s Bible study for Immanuel Church in Brentford, West London. Today she’s not just hosting, she’s leading. As she prepares, her husband, Todd, drops their 6-year-old son off at school. After Bible study, Liz heads out to Hounslow by public transport to teach ESL at Hounslow Town Church. Hounslow is one of the first places that asylees, refugees, and displaced people move when they come to the UK. Liz’s welcoming demeanor opens doors for meaningful conversations and relationships across West London.

Join us as MTW missionary Liz Crusey leads us through one day in London and get a peek into a day in her life as a missionary.

Before joining Marcom in 2023, Franklin and his wife, Beth, served for 10 years on the field in the Middle East and UK providing media production resources and church planting support for MTW colleagues and national partners.

God’s Perfect Timing for a London Church (VIDEO)

Todd and Liz Crusey hadn't planned on going to London, but when COVID hit, God redirected them at a time when they were critically needed.

From Bible Study to Church Plant in Northern England

Missionaries Josh and Gina Rieger helped plant the first Reformed evangelical church in 40 years in Hexham, England.

My Critical Breakfast Guest

Over breakfast she criticized the meal, our home, and my hair. I didn’t want to invite her back. In that moment my heart was revealed.

Pray for Immanuel Church in Brentwood, West London, and for the surrounding community, that God would strengthen believers and draw people to Himself.

Give thanks to God for a movement of the Spirit spreading across Europe opening doors that have been long-shut.

Pray for the declining Church in Europe. Many see Europe as post-Christian and without hope. But we know that Christ will build His church.

Pray for Europeans who have heard the gospel but are hesitant to fully commit to Christ. Pray that God would draw them to Himself.

Pray for two women, Monika and Andrea, who have recently come to faith against the odds in a hard-to-reach, largely atheistic European city.

Pray for Monika, that God would continue to heal her, give her a new purpose, and protect her life from physical harm, and for Andrea, that she would grow deep roots of faith and be a witness to those like her—unlikely subjects—of the reality of the grace of God.

Pray for internationals from around the world living in Brussels, Belgium, and for the MTW team working there to reach them with the truth of Christ.

Pray for the new church plant in Belgium, Hope Church International of Brussels. Pray that God would draw many from this post-Christian city to Himself.

Pray for a small church in Athens, Greece that is reaching out to refugees with the love of Christ. Pray for the refugees there to hear the truth of the gospel.

Pray for an Italian couple returning to their home country to church plant.

Pray for ongoing work among refugees in Greece.
