Human trafficking, i.e., slavery, is rampant in the world today. According to IJM, there are over 40 million slaves globally. One in four of these victims is a child. How are we to respond when millions are tricked and forced into providing commercial sex and laboring under inhumane conditions? How can we show God’s love through acts of mercy and justice?

Listen in and learn more about the heinous reality of human trafficking both here and abroad in these learning sessions from MTW West Coast’s summer 2019 Equip Missions Training Conference.

In this session Beth Raub, an assistant director for the Christopher G. Money Victim Witness Center in the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office, introduces us to the startling realities of trafficking of all kinds happening in our backyards. She also explains the whole process of how trafficking works so we can better identify it when we see it, remove some of the stigma attached to victims, and help report trafficking to the proper authorities.
