PROJECT DETAILS

The Presbyterian Day School provides a Christian-based, God-honoring education to children in Cristo Rey, Belize. Graduates of PDS go on to area high schools, including Cornerstone Presbyterian, and become leaders in their communities and churches. PDS would love to see their enrollment grow, but they face a few challenges: Facilities need to be renovated and expanded; teachers are currently under-paid compared to their colleagues at government supported schools; and current student fees do not adequately cover all needed materials and supplies.

The school expects to grow in revenue and be more self-sustaining within the next few years. Until then, funds raised will help support the operational budget of the school (including increased teacher salaries) and some much-needed upgrades to the building facilities.
