RUF Senegal - WARM

The college years are a time of great opportunity for growth, a time when many young people make decisions that will affect the rest of their lives, including their vocation, their life partner, and the place that faith will have in their lives. For years, university ministry has been an instrument in the Lord’s hands for reaching and discipling young people, who will then become the leaders of society and the church. The need for this type of ministry is particularly important across Africa, where the median age is between 16 and 19 years old.

RUF, the university ministry of the PCA, provides a solid philosophy of ministry with fixed theology and flexible methodology. RUF’s objective is to reach students for Christ and equip them to serve. Discipleship of students from the local church and evangelism of new students is at the heart of RUF’s ministry.

The RUF Senegal Project supports the establishment of the RUF university ministry at the University of Dakar, RUF’s first campus on the African continent. Your gifts will provide a way to involve national leadership from the beginning by including the involvement of a national pastor in training, as well as potential future local interns. Your gifts will also support RUF with special ministry expenses for special events such as retreats, conferences, and service activities.
