PROJECT DETAILS

Docine Christian Academy is located in Docine Village, population about 8,000. The village is known nationwide as a holy place for voodoo worship. There is no electricity, no medical clinic, and no water in Docine, yet people from all over the country travel to Docine to worship spirits.

Over 300 children attend Docine Christian Academy where they receive food, water, school supplies, quality education, and the message of the gospel. At school, they learn to sing Christian praise songs instead of voodoo chants. For many children, the meal provided by the school is the only meal they eat in a day. A church meets on school property, and parents are coming to Christ and being discipled through its ministries.
