Christ the Savior - Krakow Church Plant

Poland is a country of 40 million people with an emerging Presbyterian denomination of four churches. Christ the Savior Evangelical Presbyterian Church is in the strategic city of Krakow. It is one of the leading university cities and tech hubs in Poland. In addition, Krakow has a large refugee and immigrant population from Ukraine and elsewhere. Christ the Savior is a small but growing church that consists primarily of young professionals, families with young children, and students. It is led by a national pastor and supported by MTW missionaries. They meet for Sunday worship and midweek Bible studies. Christ the Savior desires to get the gospel to the city and beyond. Toward this end, they have a Reformed publishing house and are involved in reaching out to Poles, internationals, and Ukrainians.

As Christ the Savior grows, so do its expenses. The church needs funding for both building and administrative costs. It requires a larger, centrally located space. In a Polish context, a stable, central space is crucial to reaching the community. In addition, the church needs funds to pay for utilities, intern salaries, and administrative and ministry expenses. Due to its small size, Christ the Savior still depends on external help.
