Chile Special Needs Project (CEMIPRE)
Americas - South | Project # 90831
In a culture where disability is still viewed by many as punishment by a distant, angry god, MTW’s team in Chile is making it known that they welcome individuals touched by disability and want them to have access to the gospel.
MTW Chile’s Presbyterian Ministry Center for the disabled (CEMIPRE) is a valuable resource for those with special physical needs, especially the blind. In the spirit of Jesus’s miracles, CEMIPRE seeks to reduce the impact of disability by addressing the spiritual, emotional, and physical consequences of blindness. Practical classes like Braille and cane travel combine with Bible study and home visits to minister to the whole person.
CEMIPRE is helping the body of Christ extend the welcome of the gospel to people affected by disability and their families. Please consider donating to the CEMIPRE Special Needs Project. And pray for Chileans who are currently isolated by their disabilities, that God would bring them to Himself and to His loving community.
