Africa Scholarship Fund

The Africa Scholarship Fund has been extremely important in two separate arenas. First, it has been used in funding theological studies for two of our African national partners. This has really been helpful in strengthening our relationships with our national partners and the associated ministries. Over the past several years, we have built solid relationships that have enhanced our ministry on the theological campus, the secular university, and in various aspects of church-based community ministry.

A second area in which our scholarships have been extremely valuable has been in providing scholarships for young men pursuing ministry on the mission field or in the pastorate. So many of our students at African seminaries lack any financial means, and though they have the support of their sending churches, they still have extremely limited financial resources available to them. Here we have historically been able to fund men who have gone on to work in missions around the African continent as well as planting and pastoring Reformed churches on the continent.

The projected need to keep these scholarships funded for the next year is $50,000. Donations to this project will support this effort to assist these national partners in their education.
