Partnership with North African Church Leaders
Africa , Middle East | Project # 91408
Would it surprise you to learn that the kingdom of God is growing in Muslim-majority North Africa? The progress of the gospel is necessitating greater numbers of trained and educated church leaders, so that the kingdom grows deep as well as wide.
In this part of the world, church leaders do not have the ability to attend a formal seminary. And in some locations, outsiders are not allowed at all. Having nationals equipped to train other nationals is the best answer anywhere, but it is often the only answer here.
North African church leaders want a partnership that both trains them and equips them to train others in turn. In response to their requests, MTW created this project to support the biblical, theological, and leadership training of church leaders across the region who are then prepared to equip other leaders. Funds help provide for conference materials and travel expenses for both trainers and trainees. Local churches are asked to provide some of the costs of sending their leaders.
Your gifts to this project ensure that the Church in North Africa will not only grow in numbers, but also in depth and maturity.
