It is urban and rural, modern and ancient, all mixed into a dynamic context where history is being made and circumstances change every year. Dominated by Islam, it is genuinely a creative access region very much in need of the gospel.
The Church is growing rapidly here, but in order for the church to be healthy in the future, it needs to be financially self-sufficient. In order to help the church become self-sustainable, an MTW team in the region has launched an economic development center to help establish small businesses among believers. Trainers, mentors and partners are needed to walk alongside these believers as they develop various types of small businesses.
