Other cultures are curious to know more about this very American holiday. What better way to open the door to new relationships and opportunities to share the gospel than hosting a traditional American Thanksgiving celebration in another country?
Please join us this fall in the city of Palermo, Sicily, Italy. MTW Missionaries Santo and Mary Ellen Garofalo would like six to eight individuals to assist a church plant in Palermo by putting together a traditional Thanksgiving feast. We will spend time in schools and other contexts sharing the Thanksgiving story and conversing in English with both the youth and old.
Dates: You should plan to arrive in Palermo on Saturday, November 22 and depart on Monday, December 1.
Cost: The approximate cost is $1,124/person plus airfare
