TOP NEED
Ministry Development and Operations Coordinator
Opportunity Details
Kenya is a strategic hub for ministry in East Africa. Nairobi gathers people from across the region and world, creating unique opportunities to disciple leaders whose influence extends globally. With a diverse, relational culture and real need for strong biblical teaching, it’s a compelling place to serve, build community, and strengthen healthy churches.
MTW’s team in Kenya is helping develop two new initiatives that will serve the broader church and mission community in sub-Saharan Africa and seeks a ministry development and operations coordinator to support the effort: (1) a sub-Saharan African missionary-sending initiative to mobilize and support African missionaries serving across Africa and (2) Uzima Counseling Center, a ministry focused on biblical counseling and care for missionaries, ministry leaders, and their families.
Both initiatives are still developing and will require someone who can help provide strong administrative coordination and operational support. You will help organize projects, communication, scheduling, and administrative systems that allow these ministries to function effectively. You will also assist with building systems that help these ministries grow in a healthy and sustainable way as they develop over time. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, organizing processes, and helping ministries move from vision to practical implementation.
Candidates should be organized, self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently while remaining connected to the broader team. Experience in administration, nonprofit management, or ministry operations can be helpful but is not required.
