Built in the local limestone, Lecce is a beautiful, ancient town in southern Italy of 95,000, characterized by Baroque architecture. The majority of Italians are Roman Catholic by culture, but many distrust the Church and few are committed to the faith. And particularly in the south, it is common for people to mix Catholic faith with folk or pagan superstitions.
A Presbyterian church plant is seeking to reach Lecce with the hope of the gospel and solid theology. And it is seeking help ministering in the community.
Come work alongside an Italian pastor to reach people with the gospel, support the needs of the local church, and strengthen a new Reformed denomination. Learning Italian well is a must.
