Australasia - Pacific Islands
Fiji is known for its stunning tropical islands, luxury resorts, and vibrant tourism industry. But beyond the postcard-perfect scenery, it also serves as a key hub for the wider Pacific region, connecting Polynesian and Micronesian communities. While Christianity took root during the colonial missionary era, many mainline denominations have drifted into theological liberalism over the past century, reducing Christianity to little more than cultural tradition. Meanwhile, cults, prosperity theology, and other distortions of the gospel have gained traction, creating significant spiritual confusion.
Mission to the World, in partnership with three Presbyterian denominations from Australia and New Zealand, has launched the Island to Island Gospel Fellowship to bring gospel revitalization in the Pacific islands. Spirit-led connections have already opened doors, but we need pioneering missionaries to build on this foundation. There are exciting opportunities in church planting, university ministry, theological education, and leadership development, with the potential to impact not only Fiji but the broader Pacific region.
We are looking for missionaries who are self-starters, adaptable to cross-cultural ministry, and ideally have experience in church planting, discipleship, or theological training who can build a team around them. If you’re ready to bring the hope of the gospel to the Pacific and help establish a lasting, gospel-centered movement, we’d love to talk with you.
Join us in making Christ known in Fiji and beyond!
