Urban Missions in Brussels

Belgium Brussels Summer Internships Europe - Western

**Summer internship applications for 2024 are closed. Please check back in the fall.**

Would you like to learn about missions and experience cross-cultural urban life in one of the most international cities in the world? L'Aterlier (the workshop) is MTW's summer internship in Brussels, and it's an opportunity for young adults to get an up-close look into the work of cross-cultural ministry. The ends of the earth have truly come to Brussels, a city where over half of the population are of foreign origin and where more than 150 languages are spoken.

This mentored summer internship is a 2024 RUF partnership site and is part learning and part hands-on ministry, and includes mentoring by the team. Live as a missionary in a foreign context, complete with language-learning, community outreach, and service in an international church plant. Missionaries and other ministry workers will lead times of discussion and teaching about topics and themes related to missions, evangelism, culture, and calling. Interns will connect with multiple churches and Christian organizations that are reaching people across Belgium and beyond. In addition, there will be a week dedicated to VBS. Interns will also participate in a team retreat, where you will meet missionaries from across Western Europe and learn about ministry in other cities and contexts.

If you're 20 to 25, eager to learn, willing to be flexible,  and ready to participate, get in touch with us right away!

Dates: May 29-July 22
