Would you like to learn about missions and experience cross-cultural urban life in one of the most international cities in the world? L'Atelier, "the workshop," is MTW's summer internship in Brussels, and it's an opportunity for young adults to get an up-close look into the work of cross-cultural ministry. The ends of the earth have truly come to Brussels, a city where over half of the population are of foreign origin and where more than 150 languages are spoken.
This summer internship is a 2025 RUF partnership site and offers interns the chance to study theological and cultural topics in a cohort environment, while also having a variety of opportunities to serve. Throughout the summer, interns will spend time with the local missionary team members, getting to know them and processing what they are learning with them. Interns will experience what living as a missionary in a foreign context looks like, complete with language-learning, community outreach, and service in an international church plant. Missionaries and other ministry workers will lead times of discussion and teaching about topics and themes related to missions, evangelism, culture, and calling. In addition, there will be a week dedicated to helping with a VBS in the local church.
If you're 20 to 25, eager to learn, willing to be flexible, and ready to participate and be stretched, get in touch with us right away!
Most summer internships run for 6-8 weeks, late May to end of July. For FAQs and more info, visit mtw.org/internships.
