Sound intriguing?

This global, multicultural city sits at the crossroads of the Middle East and Central Asia. Though predominantly Muslim, it also has a strong sense of secularism, multiculturalism, and tolerance. There is also an ancient, historic church in this country, which provides an opportunity to see how God has been at work for centuries, but also lessons from its seasons of decline. Today, however, there are signs of renewal and revival, as God is at work again in and around the region.

Known for its warmth and hospitality, this is an ideal place to learn ministry in a Muslim context. Positioned between Turkic and Persian worlds, it offers unique exposure to both.

The Ancient Paths Internship is a 9–11 month program offering immersive ministry experience in the Turkic-Persian world. Participants engage Muslim-majority and unreached peoples through research, relationship-building, and language learning, while gaining insight into cross-cultural ministry. Alongside hands-on experience, interns receive mentoring and guided reflection to explore their gifts, skills, and calling. The program is designed to cultivate clarity and prepare individuals for thoughtful, effective long-term service in this unique and strategic context.
