Rachel Wilhelm

Rachel is headed to Panama City to join the work of planting and multiplying Reformed churches in Latin America.

She will graduate from Covenant Theological Seminary with an M.A. in ministry before arriving on the field. Her experience working with Mexican church planters during an MTW internship influenced her decision to attend seminary. She was encouraged to take advantage of the rich theological education she has at her disposal in the U.S. in order to serve the church globally.

In Panama, Rachel will serve as an outreach and discipleship coordinator. In an international city like Panama City, English is in high demand for educational and career opportunities. By helping to develop an ESL program, Rachel will equip the Panamanian church to connect with and serve their neighbors in a tangible way, in turn opening doors to serve them spiritually. Additionally, Rachel will serve in a discipleship capacity in Comunidad de Cristo’s youth and young adult ministries. She will also mentor MTW interns as they serve in Panama on a short-term basis, and looks forward to speaking into the interns’ lives as they discern their own call to ministry.
