PERSONAL NOTE

Shohei is a fourth-generation Japanese Christian with interests in global missions, theological education, preaching, and church planting. He graduated from the University of Tsukuba (2002), Christ Bible Seminary, Nagoya, Japan, with an M.Div. (2011), and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Boston, Massachusetts, with a Th.M. in preaching (2017). 


After teaching as a physical education teacher in an elementary school for five years, Shohei began serving as one of the initial church planters at All Nations Fellowship, an English-Japanese bilingual church planting ministry in Nagoya in 2007. Shohei then became the director of admissions and academic affairs at Christ Bible Institute and Christ Bible Seminary in 2011. It is their hope to see more young Japanese make disciples in Japan and sent from Japan. Shohei and his wife Sawako, have four children.
