Survo, Raimo & Annemari

Acct # P-0815

PERSONAL NOTE

Raimo and Annemari met at Logos Ministries of Finland's youth camp (Kansan Raamattuseura) and felt a calling to ministry in God's kingdom at an early age. They married in 2011, and they have three children. Raimo studied at the Agricola Theological Seminary and graduated with a Master of Theological Studies degree. Raimo is an ordained minister in the International Presbyterian Church, which is currently planting the first IPC church in Finland, Immanuel Presbyterian Church, in the capital of eastern Finland.

Despite Finland's Evangelical-Lutheran majority, there is a growing lack of understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Raimo and Annemari sensed God's call to start this mission in Kuopio and plant a Reformed church. Raimo recognizes the significance of planting new churches to advance the gospel of Christ in Finland. Since Presbyterianism has no history in Finland, the country urgently needs Reformed churches that clearly proclaim the unmerited grace of Christ, and the whole counsel of God.
