Stava, Jonas & Pattie

After hundreds of years of rich church history, Norway finds itself in a rapid decline of church attendance now reaching an all-time low of 2%. Jonas and Pattie Stava have been planting churches and serving across Norway, Jonas’ home country, for five years. Jonas is the first Norwegian ordained in the PCA. 

Currently they labor in planting an international church in Oslo, one of Europe's most diverse and secular cities. This international church, Grace International Church of Oslo, is an exciting work that is strategic in reaching the nations as the world becomes more transient. Though church attendance in Norway is declining, Jonas and Pattie find new people at Grace church every Sunday, hungry for the gospel. As well as serving in the church plant, the Stavas faithfully share the gospel with their neighbors being salt and light in their community. 

Their prayer is that Grace International Church of Oslo will be a flagship church that is Christ-centered, healthy, and loving so that people in Oslo can find their home in Christ and thus go and make disciples of all nations reaching the next generation.
