Scott and Becca Elder

Scott and Becca met at a Christian camp in Atlanta, Georgia, during college. Bonding over a mutual love for camp ministry they married and have four wonderful daughters.

God has prepared them for missions work in France through Becca’s childhood on the mission field, Scott’s work in global health, and their service in their local church. God put France on their heart through previous trips, love for the language and culture, and need for growth and outreach in the church.

France is considered one of the least religious countries in the world with one church per 25,000 people. There is a great need for the gospel to go out in France and the church in France needs believers to join in gospel work. Scott and Becca will be serving a Reformed evangelical church in Lyon in many aspects of ministry, discipling new believers, serving in administrative needs, and sharing the gospel with those who have not heard before. As the church continues to grow, they will seek to help plant other churches in the Lyon area to build up the church network and bring the hope and light of the gospel to even more people of France.
